Dry Ice Blasting

GIS provides dry ice blasting services to remove stubborn dirt, unwanted materials, and residual contaminants that can adhere to plant equipment due to production conditions and environmental factors.

Dry ice blasting, which uses CO₂ pellets for impact cleaning, is a simple, non-abrasive method that eliminates the need for harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, high temperatures, or steam to remove surface impurities. When the pellets impact the surface, they immediately sublimate, leaving no residue. Therefore, dry ice blasting can be used to clean or strip surfaces of pollutants.

GIS’s dry ice blasting does not introduce any new impurities into the waste stream; it creates significantly less secondary waste that needs to be disposed of afterward.

Using a chemical-free process, we can swiftly and safely remove old, loose paint, solvents, or abrasives without damaging surrounding materials or the environment.

Dry ice blasting yields better results than any other method. Additionally, it can clean tight spaces that are difficult to reach by hand.
